I tried the air fryer chicken tender recipe but they were tender but not crispy or brown, and I cooked them two minutes longer on both side on the second batch but no improvement.
I think it could possibly be because you halved the recipe and there may not have been enough batter on the chicken for it to brown as it should have.
My batter was thick and gloopy and was impossible to turn them over half way through. All other recipes required coating with eggs. The chicken was very tasty though and moist and loved the stone house seasoning. As I said trial and error.

Hi Robert, Stone house seasoning not available here any other seasoning. I have asked several people if they want one and they mostly tell me I had one and gave it away.
It came out s perfect!
Does yours have a heat setting at all?

As I was testing my air fryer, I discovered that a lot of things do stick and really have to spray mine well with nonstick cooking spray or with my olive oil mister. . I had to make a special place in my pantry to store mine when it isn’t in use (alongside my blender, instant pot and slow cooker!) I would recommend experimenting before adding a great deal more, especially if you are serving to children or to someone that doesn’t like much spice in their foods. What a wonderful invention! Hi Trina, Some are smaller than others therefore you may need to work in smaller batches to air fry. As the first batch of chicken tenders finishes, prepare the second half of the chicken tenders for cooking and repeat the steps for cooking. Seal the bag and place in a bowl.
